Liza Kelly is a visual artist who lives and works in Dublin. She works mostly in drawing and printmaking, particularly with collagraph and monotype methods. She draws on everyday experience in her work — places, objects, and fleeting moments — weaving this with other artistic, historical and contemporary references.
Liza graduated from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin, in 1996 with a BA in Fine Art Printmaking. She completed the Online Drawing Development Year at the Royal Drawing School, London, in 2022. She also holds an MA in Professional Design Practice from TU Dublin.
Liza regularly exhibits her work in Ireland and internationally. Recent exhibitions include the Royal Academy of Arts (London), Royal Hibernian Academy (Dublin), Blue Shop Galleries (London), Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair (London), Platforms Project (Athens), and the Royal Ulster Academy (Belfast). She is the recipient of awards from the Arts Council of Ireland and the Royal Drawing School, and was shortlisted for the Sir William Orpen Self-Portrait Prize in 2025. Her work is held in private collections in Ireland, U.K., Europe, Asia and the USA.
